Restaurant 1683 New York, Gaggenau
Cinematic transmission of the Black Forest to Manhattan
In 1683, Gaggenau originated as a nail forge in the Black Forest. 333 years of craftsmanship were honoured by bringing these magical origins to the Chelsea Art Beam gallery in New York. Guests to the culinary experience were invited to step through a chalet cuckoo clock to find a floor to ceiling waterfall and dine amid snow-topped pine trees.
