IFK Dresden 2019, Melitta

In praise of humble beginnings and lasting inventions

To honour the moment, 111 years ago, when Melitta Bentz invented the coffee filter using blotting paper, a tin can, and a nail, a company exhibition was hosted in Dresden. A darkened space offers room for contemplation, with historic highlights carefully lit. One wall is lined with Melitta’s patents, while signature inventions are exhibited chronologically in the center.
