Pop-Up Store Solingen, Wüsthof
Conceptual pop-up store in epicentre of German knife industry
In Solingen, the age-old Ruhr area epicentre of knife-production, family business Wüsthof was supported with a leap in brand- and retail design. Next to the factory, a pop-up store was put in place; a prefab building with three spaces the size of freight containers and three triangular roof partitions referencing the Wüsthof Dreizack, the company's trident logo. The colours of the building are based on another triad, the traditional Bergische Dreiklang: dark slate facade, white window frames, and green window shutters.
